LOGOS: Friends of All Ages

Lucy Neely of Christ Memorial Presbyterian Church in Columbia, Maryland shares…

I have been attending Christ Memorial Presbyterian for about three years. I remember the first time I visited CMPC with my family. I immediately knew that this was the church I would call home. My family wanted to visit a few more churches before becoming members just to see if we could find anything better, but I knew that wasn’t possible. Now, after being here three years this church has given me some of the best friends I could ever ask for. The friends that I have made here aren't all my age, a lot of them are much younger and older than me. The friends I have made here are people who I can always count on, no matter what the circumstance. Besides listening to Pastor Scott's amazing Sunday morning services, my favorite part of our church would have to be LOGOS.

For those of you who don't know what LOGOS is, it is a multi-generational mid-week ministry for all young people from preschool through high school. No matter how bad of a week I'm having, when I arrive at LOGOS I am instantly put into a good mood.

At LOGOS, there isn't one person there who I wouldn't be able to rely on. But most importantly, everyone there is treated like a child of God.

Lucy participates in FISH (Fellowship In Senior High), the high school portion of LOGOS at Christ Memorial and she also arrives early to assist in recreation with the preschoolers.
