Key Practices

LOGOS intergenerational ministry practices 3 key aspects that, together, insure a strong, healthy arena  where children, youth and adults can live out abundant life-giving relationships with God through Jesus Christ.

1 Theology of Relationships

A strong scripture-based understanding of who God is in our lives, the nature of our personal relationship with God, and the resulting impact on our relationships with others because of God's presence in our lives. Scripture references: 1:26-27, Matthew 22:37-40. Watch Living by God's Design, our 12-minute video about Christian relationships.

2 Process of Call

A scripture-directed approach for aligning personal gifts and efforts with the needs of a ministry or mission that results from God's purpose and plan. Scripture reference: Ephesians 4:11-13. Listen to our podcast, Identifying Needs and Calling Volunteers, to learn more about our Process of Call.

3 Balanced Ministry

A requirement that ministry addresses and engages the mind, soul and body in a disciple-making process that teaches and provides an opportunity to practice the faith. Scripture reference Acts 2:42.
