GenOn Youth Summer Summit: Holy Spirit creates a snowball effect

In 1993, three young ladies from our church attended the LOGOS Conference in Estes Park, Colorado, at the YMCA Camp of the Rockies. One of them was my daughter, Kristen, and she had a mountain top experience!

The next summer five youth attended. The next year, Kristen insisted I go with them, and this time several adults and 12 youth made the trip.

Do you see a trend?

All of our youth were touched by the Holy Spirit and by the relationships they made with adults and youth from all over the U.S. I can't begin to squeeze in all the funny stories and wonderful memories that have been made during the years at the conference (now called GenOn Youth Summit). Our church now regularly sends 25-33 youth and adults every year.

Please consider attending a GenOn Youth Summit this summer -- even if your church sends only three or four youth. You won't believe the "snowball effect" you'll create!

Click here for complete information and the registration packet for Summit West (Estes Park, CO) and Summit East (Wheeling, WV). Both summits are held for a week in July and include a day of mission work.
