Intergenerational Ministry Resources for the Summer and All Year

Posted by Tracey Daniels at

GenOn Ministries believes that intergenerational ministry develops disciples and energizes churches.

We have seen the impact of cross-generational sharing of faith journeys and life-experienced wisdom when the art of Christian relationships is learned, experienced, and practiced together. The deep relationships formed through these experiences play an invaluable role in the development of lifelong disciples, and in the renewal of energy and vitality in whole congregations.

So, GenOn Ministries is committed to developing resources to start, sustain, and grow intergenerational relationships. Find them – all in downloadable format – in our store.

All God’s Children: The Church Family Gathers for Summer is perfect for gathering all ages together during the summer (or any time of the year) on a Sunday after church, a Wednesday night, or any other time. Full set includes five two-hour sessions. Individual sessions are also available

All God’s Children: The Church Family Gathers for a Very Blessed Summer invites churches to create Vacation Bible School that is intergenerational. Includes five gatherings that allow all ages to eat together, play together, study God’s Word together, and pray, sing, and worship together. Each session is 2.5 to 3 hours in length.
