It is with great excitement that we announce that Jim Ryan has accepted a call to serve on the GenOn Ministries Board of Directors. Jim holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. After graduating, he served in the U.S. Air Force. Jim has spent the last forty years developing and supporting hardware and software products for the financial industry. In 1999, he helped form a small IT consulting firm where he still works today.
Almost twenty years ago Jim was part of a team that began a LOGOS youth ministry in his church (Concordia Lutheran Church in Worcester, Massachusetts). At various times he has served as Director, Bible Study Leader, Worship Arts Leader, and Dinner Dean. LOGOS continues to be a central ministry of Jim’s church and he loves that his grandchildren attend each week. One of his high points each year is to bring a group of youth and other adult leaders to GenOn Summit East in July. 2018 will be their sixteenth year of attending Summit.
