Is Your Church Intergenerational?

Posted by Suzie Lane at

We can help you answer that important question!

GenOn Ministries defines intergenerational ministry as “nurturing Christ-centered community by bringing together two or more generations in planned and purposeful settings, where all are mutually-invested.”

Use our Visioning Tool for Intergenerational Ministry to start conversations at your church about the transformation that happens when generations learn and grow together. This tool uses 19 factors to represent the tangible characteristics that underlie a church’s ability to consistently build disciples through intergenerational ministry. The Visioning Tool uses these factors to 1) take a picture of a church’s current setting for intergenerational ministry and 2) create a plan for becoming an intergenerational church.
