All God's Children: The Church Family Gathers for Advent Mary and Joseph
This session is meant to be a gathering of about 2 hours at the church or a home and focuses on welcoming “guests” Mary and Joseph as a reminder to seek and trust God in using our lives as a witness to the power of Jesus’ love in the world. The resource includes Eating Together (with menu, table decorations and prayer), Playing Together (with choices of crafts, games, and other fun activities), Studying God's Word Together (with Bible study, message to share together and questions for conversation) and Praying Together (with litany, music, sharing what has been experienced, and a closing prayer).
