What is LIFT?
When do we use it?
What are churches saying?
LIFT is a wonderful way for faith communities to make that first step (or next step!) into intergenerational faith formation. Most of us already have a mid-week dinner experience, or some place where we eat and fellowship together? Why not let LIFT transform your church routine into a rhythm of intentional, faith formation for all ages? LIFT is not only family-friendly, but "all-people" friendly. Everyone will feel included and welcomed to participate.
This curriculum is easy to follow and easy to carry out. Themes, along with multi-sensory, multi-modal opportunities to respond to God's word abound while eating with one another and listening, playing, and praying together. LIFT invites ALL of us to engage in faith with one another around the table so that we might deepen and grow in our relationship with Jesus together. For me, it's a win/win combination. LIFTÂ + Your Church = Intergenerational Faith Formation!
--Rev. Dr. Valerie M. Grissom, Chair of InterGenerate, Pastor, PCUSAÂ
“LIFT has met a need for our congregation as we seek to grow and reach out. We have people coming who never came to traditional Sunday school, and our teens have opted to stay in LIFT rather than go back to their traditional group.”
-- Christian education leader
“Sometimes we treat our church curricula like rocket science instead of relationship science. LIFT provides accessible tools to build quality relationships that LIFT all ages in ways that bring us closer to God and to one another.”
--Rev. Dr. Olivia Bryan Updegrove, Faith Tutors Founder
