Explore ways that worship practices can be shaped to truly welcome children into the worshiping space -- with full mutuality and reciprocity.
Building on the various elements of worship (e.g., the Table, singing, prayer, preaching), we will discuss both small and large adjustments that can be introduced to foster a more inclusive worship service.
Dr. Jennifer Schroeder is on the faculty at Abilene Christian University where she teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in children and family ministry, children's spiritual formation, and contextual ministry. She holds dual doctorates -- a Doctor of Ministry from ACU and a Doctor of Musical Arts from Michigan State University -- and previously served as a children's pastor for 17 years.
