Supporting GenOn Volunteers

Are you interested in volunteering with us?

GenOn Ministries is able to partner with churches because of the dedication of over 100 volunteers, who have been called by God and in community to share their gifts. All our volunteers strive to:

    • love God, love children and youth, and share their gifts
    • exhibit a mature Christian faith
    • demonstrate good relational skills with adults, with an ability to lead and inspire others
    • be passionate about GenOn Ministries' vision and mission

Volunteer roles for GenOn Ministries include, but are not limited to

REGIONAL SUPPORTERS provide ministry support, advice and consultation for local LOGOS churches. They enjoy and are proficient at public speaking, are able to lead and inspire others and are willing to seek out opportunities to share about LOGOS.
TRAINING LEADERS are our experts in the field who feel called to serve beyond their local church. Steeped in knowledge from GenOn about Intergenerational Ministry, and experienced with LOGOS Ministry, training leaders travel to other churches and organizations to lead workshops and training events. For more information, contact Training Coordinator Betsy Dishman.
BOARD MEMBERS serve on the GenOn Ministries Board of Directors. They are able to lead and inspire others, have experience with or are interested in learning about non-profit boards, are good team players, and possess administration/organization, business, finance, strategic planning, fund or friend-raising and/or legal skills. They feel called to serve in board positions, are able to contribute financially to GenOn Ministries, and are comfortable encouraging others to do so.
