All God's Children: The Church Family Gathers for Summer Sample

5 sessions in the full resource. Focus is on enjoying Bible stories in warmer weather and outdoor activities. Each session includes Eating Together (with menu, table decorations and prayer), Playing Together (with choices of crafts, games, and other fun activities), Studying God's Word Together (with Bible study, message to share together and questions for conversation) and Praying Together (with litany, music, sharing what has been experienced, and a closing prayer). Sessions:
- Faith and Fireworks - two miracles of healing (Mark 5:21-43)
- Let's Go Camping - God speaks to Elijah (1 Kings 19:1-13)
- Plumb Straight - the prophet Amos warns God's people (Amos 7:7-15)
- Storm Stories - Jesus calms the wind and rain (Mark 4:35-41)
- Walking on Water - Jesus walks on water (Matthew 14:22-33, John 6:16-21, Ephesians 3:14-21
