God's World in Community: Gifts of the Spirit
Through God’s World in Community: Gifts of the Spirit, participants of all ages explore Galatians 5:22-23 and related Scriptures through nine sessions titled:
- Love (Mark 12:29-31)
- Joy (Matthew 5:11-12)
- Peace (Romans 5:1, Matthew 5:9)
- Patience (Ephesians 4:2, 2 Timothy 2:24)
- Kindness (2 Timothy 2:24)
- Generosity (2 Corinthians 9:11)
- Faithfulness (Philippians 1:27)
- Gentleness (Philippians 4:5)
- Self-control (2 Timothy 1:7)
This flexible, simple resource for intergenerational gatherings for participants of all ages uses discussion, games, and activities to better understand each gift of the spirit. Each of the nine sessions focuses on a different gift through Scripture references. The response options can be used one at a time or simultaneously to enhance the discussions as time allows.
