GenOn Ministries is pleased to announce the election of two new officers to our board of directors. Beth A. Thompson of Minneapolis, Minnesota has been elected president and Jim Ryan of Worcester, Massachusetts vice president.
Beth shares, “As president, I’m humbled by the opportunity to help lead this wonderful organization into the future as our board works to make significant transitions in support of intergenerational ministry.”
Other officers serving are secretary Tara Dew of El Reno, Oklahoma and treasurer Tom Kanavy of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Also on our board are Rev. Dean Lindsey (State College, Pennsylvania), John Roberto (Cheshire, Connecticut), Rev. Merideth Sprigler (Nashville, Tennessee), and Ann Wilson (Guelph, Ontario).
Emeritus board members are Ed and Shirley Carlson of La Crescenta, California and Rev. Anna Taylor-Sweringen of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
