It is our honor to share that Rev. Dr. Olivia Bryan Updegrove has accepted a call to serve on the GenOn Ministries Board of Directors. Olivia is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) with seminary training at Lexington Theological Seminary and a doctorate from Claremont School of Theology.
She has authored children's books, written articles and curricula, and brought her passion for biblical education to various age groups. Recently, Olivia has begun her own business, Faith Tutors.
Olivia’s life began intergenerationally. Her dad was 60, her oldest sister was 30, and her nephew was 5 years older than her. The value of different roles played by different generations informed her childhood and lives into her adulthood.
