Introducing Dean Lindsey, Our New GenOn Ministries Board Member

Posted by Liz Perraud at

It is our honor to share that Reverend Dean Lindsey has accepted a call to serve on the GenOn Ministries Board of Directors.

Dean Lindsey is a native of New Orleans.  He graduated from Vanderbilt University and Yale Divinity School and completed doctoral work at Columbia Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA.  He has been a pastor for over thirty years and has been a part of LOGOS programs since 1994 in three churches that have blessed and been blessed by the many young people and leaders who have taken part in LOGOS.

Since 2013, he has been the pastor of the State College Presbyterian Church in State College Pennsylvania where he teaches the 2nd grade LOGOS class and enjoys being a table parent and serving as substitute Dinner Dean.  His previous churches include the Community Presbyterian Church of Clarendon Hills in the Chicago suburbs and Salem Presbyterian Church in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.  Married to Peggy, also a Presbyterian minister, the family also includes three children, now grown, who loved going each week to worship, sing, enjoy recreation, learn the stories of Scripture, and eat a great meal with LOGOS friends.
