DeHaven LOGOS Fund Exceeds Fundraising Goal!

Thank you! We did it! In 2016 the GenOn Board of Directors approved the creation of the DeHaven LOGOS Fund to support Christian churches who have established or wish to start a LOGOS weekly ministry as a means of being an intergenerational church, yet have limited funds to do so. One of my favorite rooms on a LOGOS evening is the kitchen. There's a buzz about that place-I've seen it in churches all over no matter the size of the program or the sophistication of the meals. In my church we've had a year of a busted dishwasher, a broken hot water heater, hurt (and healed!) feelings, deeply personal stories, and rounds of the flu. There was a day when schools and communities guarded Wednesday night as “church night.” Rarely were school sports practices or evening events scheduled. And then there wasn’t that day. All this travel allowed me to see and experience LOGOS in action--in churches and at both youth summits--to worship with churches, and to enjoy relationship building over breakfasts, lunches, and dinners.
