Congratulations!

I ate dinner with a family from my church a couple of weeks ago. They invited me for a meal in their home to thank me for something that I should have been thanking them for. You can read about that something here.  It was a wonderful evening of food and fellowship. The meal was a fabulous array of dishes from their culture (Pakistan) prepared with me in mind (not too spicy). There's something so very personal about not just a meal together but a meal in someone’s home. I loved it.  And I was reminded of something by the...

I remember one training leader sharing that she arrived late because her daughter, who thought she didn’t want to be...

LOGOS Musicals and Nittany Lions

It was my pleasure to visit State College Presbyterian Church (State College, Pennsylvania) on the occasion of their celebration of 25 years of LOGOS ministry. What I saw, learned or experienced included: Elementary students enthusiastically leading in worship and an enthusiastic congregation supporting such leadership. I loved the adult helper in the choir loft with the little sailor hat perched on his head to match the children in the musical. A pastor and music director with LOGOS experience in previous churches who were drawn to this church at least partially because of LOGOS. Lots of adults eager to share with...
